Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the centerpiece to a three thousand year old practice that began in China, and focuses on the concept of Qi: Or life energy,

that travels through pathways, or meridians, running along the length of the body. Each of these Qi meridians correspond to an organ, and each organ corresponds to an emotional state of environmental issue.

Acupuncture has been scientificially proven to aid in several issues, including migraines, chronic pain, digestive disorders, labor problems, soft tissue damage, as well as behavioral problems.

Our therapists are all board certified. We use only disposable needles, and our acupuncturists have been practicing for over a decade, almost entirely at this location.

Rolfing

From the Rolf Institute's website:

Named after its founder, Dr. Ida P. Rolf, Rolfing Structural Integration is a form of bodywork that reorganizes the connective tissues, called fascia, that permeate the entire body.

More than fifty years ago, Dr. Rolf recognized that the body is inherently a system of seamless networks of tissues rather than a collection of separate parts. These connective tissues surround, support and penetrate all of the muscles, bones, nerves and organs. Rolfing works on this web-like complex of connective tissues to release, realign and balance the whole body.
Essentially, the Rolfing process enables the body to regain the natural integrity of its form, thus enhancing postural efficiency and your freedom of movement.
